Ink Blending & Silhouette Stamping

Hello to my fellow creators! It has been a difficult week for me. I am so glad you have stopped by to take a look at what I created this week. I have been very busy trying to meet my goals this month, all while trying to recover from this horrible virus. I have only been able to craft for a few minutes at a time, so meeting my goals has been a challenge, but I have done it. I'm kind of a type A personality, so when I set a goal for myself, I do my best to meet that goal.

In this week's video I decided to play with ink blending and silhouette stamping. I started by doing some ink blending on white card stock (Recollections). I used Distress Oxide Inks (Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, and Abandoned Coral) and blended them using my blending brushes. While I set my panel aside to dry, I die cut the main sentiment "Believe" (Simon Says Stamp). I die cut it three times to layer the sentiment and give it more stability and depth. I then put my ink blended panel in my Misti and stamped the image from the "Meadow Life" stamp (Creative Expressions). Once the image was stamped, I added the ink blended panel to a black mat. I then added the die cut sentiment to the panel. I thought the sentiment could use a little sparkle so I used Onyx Black Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen on the sentiment. I then added the secondary sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp "together" stamp set. With the panel complete, I added it to a card base and added the card to my stash. I really enjoyed making these cards and hope you enjoyed watching my process.

Thank you for supporting me and helping me grow as I continue my creative journey. I am constantly inspired by so many other creators and am grateful to them for continuing to inspire and motivate me.
