Fright Night

I saw a video with a Halloween Card being made by Amy Rysavy (Prairie Paper & Ink) and it inspired me to make a Halloween card for my next video. I recorded this video live for YouTube, so no voiceover. I was rushing to get it done in time because I did not record on Sunday evening as usual. I had to record the video on Tuesday evening since I have been working from home and helping my grandkids with their distance learning, so a very busy household lately. I hope you enjoy this slightly different and noisy video.

I started by using some patterned paper by Recollections that I had in my stash. Once I selected the paper I was going to use, I layered two of the patterned papers together. I then used a stamp set I had (from Michael’s I think) to stamp a spooky house image with Versafine ink and added some glittery black embossing powder by Recollections. I then die cut my images using my Gemini Junior. I went on to attach the images using some art glitter glue. From there, I stamped my sentiment using Simon Says Stamp’s “Handlettered Halloween” on some black cardstock and embossed it with gold embossing powder by Zing. I cut down my sentiment strip and attached it to the panel using some foam tape from Dollar Tree. I then stamped the small spider image on the panel. Once my panel was complete, I added some mirror black cardstock as a mat and then attached it to a black card base. I managed to get this video recorded, edited and uploaded in less than three hours. That is a new record for me.
